Mrs Fraser - 800x1000mm, Print matte 150gsm
This work, ‘Mrs Fraser’ is a collection of everything I own. Photographs of every belonging I have currently in my life, that I have edited and added onto this document. It includes 1006 images on a matte print of 1000mm X 800mm. This project looked into consumer culture and having value in mass produced material items, and how we build a relationship to these belongings which have so many multiples. I do this by exposing my habits and showing not only how many mass manufactured items I have but how many different versions of the same item I have. My itent for the audience was to be a visual reminder of the amount of ‘stuff’ we accumulate and to think about their own habits, which of their belongings have meaning or use and what they can do without.
